Salesforce Solution Architect
Who we are:
Copilot is the premier Salesforce consulting partner for Financial Services, Real Estate, and SaaS companies (and specifically, we mean private equity, investment banking, wealth and asset management; real estate investment trusts, investment managers, brokerage, lending; tech start-ups and scale-ups). We compete with the biggest consulting firms to serve companies at the top of their game in these industries. We’re a group of technology evangelists building solutions clients enjoy using, because we actually understand their business and make Salesforce work the way they want it to.
While Copilot is our name it’s also our mission: to see our clients and our people soar (that means you)! We’re obsessed with building long-term client relationships and turning those into fans and referrals. Because of this, we’re focused on measured growth and maintaining our culture as we continue to reach new heights. We know our Crew is where our success comes from, and we’re excited to be rapidly growing! (Yes, we call our team our Crew, as in, flight crew).
About the role:
We’re looking for a Solution Architect to help lead the discovery, design, build, and success of Salesforce projects for our growing portfolio of clients. You would be paired up with a senior consultant who would handle client management, project management, backlog management, creation of user stories, and QA.
Your role would be to design the overall solution, determine the need to integrate with external systems and how to make those integrations happen (no coding experience required), liaise with the technical architecture team when custom solutions are needed, and see the solution through deployment and post deployment support.
You would also partner up with the senior consultant to determine how we can continue to add value to the clients you’re serving. We create long term relationships, not one-hit wonders.
What we'll need from you:
- Co-lead a client through a project from start to finish and deliver excellent results
- Co-lead discovery sessions to identify client needs and establish projects
- Design and implement solutions in Salesforce and related platforms on strategic projects
- Foster long-term relationships with clients by being a trusted advisor
- Manage the creation of functional specs that can be easily translated into technical requirements to be implemented by a Salesforce developer
- Manage the delivery and testing of custom solutions with our technical architects and developers
- Mentor and manage rising crew members so they can be as awesome as you
What we expect you’re walking in with:
- Passion for learning and growth
- BA/BS degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science or Engineering – or equivalent relevant work experience
- 3+ years experience as a Salesforce solution architect, consultant, administrator, or a Sales Operations leader who has used Salesforce extensively
- Advanced knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud
- Hands-on advanced experience with Flows (we consider ourselves a Flows-first company)
A serious attention to detail - Experience with business process discovery and requirements gathering
- Experience with data migrations and integrations from third-party systems to Salesforce
- Experience in designing applications with a clear focus on user experience
- Demonstrated ability working with stakeholders to drive Salesforce adoption
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team
Icing on the cake for us (and by no means are these requirements):
- You’ve worked with companies in one or more of these industries: private equity, investment banking, wealth and asset management; real estate investment trusts, investment managers, brokerage, lending; SaaS.
- Experience working within Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Experience with one or more of the following: Financial Service Cloud, Pardot, Tableau / Tableau CRM, Experience Cloud

- Shaping the future of the Crew (identifying needs, participating in the hiring process)
